    Default Does the Word "Decedent" Go on Form 4868 - Extension for 1040 of a Person Who Passed

    extension for 1040 of a person who passed needs to be filed. should the word " decedent" be included on the form, or is that included when the actual 1040 is filed?

    It's my understanding that it should appear on the extension as well as the 1040.
