Default Late Application for Benefits
My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Ohio. My freind has worked in a family business for 35 years, paying all federal taxes. The business goes under in 3 of 08', he files for unemployment in 11 of 08' and they deny him three times for not filing in a timely manner? And throw salt on by saying no appeals after three? Please, something doesn't seem right here. Should he just drive to Columbus and have a face-to-face with a real person? Thanks, Jim.
