Driving Without Insurance or Registration Court Summons

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Massachusetts

About a month back, I receintly got a new car and was driving it around the block to show my sister, and was stopped for driving without insurance and registration. they gave me a ticket and told me that i would be receiving a summons for court. then i moved about a week later, in the same town, and notified the USPS of my address change, but did not tell the police station or the court (thinking that the summons was to be sent to me by mail). Then the other night a cop ran my plates and stopped me saying that there was a warrant for my arrest. And it was for the moving violation that happened a month ago. I never received a summons for this and then all of a sudden there was a warrant. Now i am due in court on Wednesday.

Is there any way that i can fight any of this in court?

This is my first traffic violation.
