Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Canada/Toronto.
It's my first time offending and it wasn't even me who did the physical beating I just set the guy up. As I said earlier I have never been in any trouble with the law before. I'm 17 years old. I am concerned as to what could possibly be my conviction. I am thinking about going in and pleading guilty, would that make it easier and also will I have to go back to court after that date if I do plead guilty? My boyfriend who turned 18 not to long ago was also involved and he did the physical beating(there were also 3 others there,he did not throw the first punch) and he has been charged with the same thing as me. Just wondering what his conviction could be. It is also his first time offending and he is an honour role student. After our courtdates are done and over with is there any way that the law could prevent me and him from seeing each other or speaking to each other.
