    Default 401K with Transamerica

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Calif.

I need an early withdrawal of my 401K due to being out of work. The Transamerica company is requiring a 20% forfeiture to the Federal Reserve corporation. Is there any maneuver I can make to avoid paying these clowns?

Since those "clowns" are advising you of a forfeiture that is required by Federal law, no, there is no way around it. Those "clowns" know that the IRS requires a penalty for early withdrawal.
