Illinois Bench Warrant

if you have a bench warrant issued against you in the state of illionios for jumping a $5000 bond for not appearing for your first court apperance for the charge of cheating while gambling, which is a class 4 felony charge, i do believe, can you be picked up in the any other state? also if you are out of the country, an reenter the usa, can the border patrol hold you until the illionios police pick you up? And are there any boundries, by which they have to adhere to?

It's possible. It depends upon whether Illinois puts the warrant into the interstate system, asking other jurisdictions to pick you up to be extradited back to Illinois.

At best, if the warrant is detected at the border, you are subject to being turned back at the border.

Is there a radius on a bench warrant issued in the state of illinois, if so what is the typical radius. The warrant is for failing to appear to a first court appearance and jumping a $5000 bond.

i'm in canada now, but am traveling to the us,, on tuesday, my destination is reno,, but i have to change planes in memphis,, i have not showed up for court, therefore, i have skipped bond of $5000,, will the us customs have this information, and would the illionios police pick me up at the memphis airport. please reply asap,, thank you

The USCIS may well have that information, and could conceivably detain you while they figure out if Illinois wishes to commence extradition proceedings, or in the alternative refuse you entry into the United States. Or you may be lucky and get through.

The only organization which can tell you with certainty what information the USCIS has in its records is the USCIS.

what if i am detained at the border? Also, if extradited to illionois, what could happen with the $5000 bond? Would i be released on another bond? Also, could i deal with this situation from canada if i obtained a lawyer from illionois? Do i have to be present to deal with this?
