Default Statute on Filing Judgment on Old Repo
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Iowa

I'm wondering about the statute of limitations on filing a judgment. The automobile was repossessed in 12/2001, so the debt is over 7 years old and not showing up on the credit report. Does anyone know what the statute of limitation is for the creditor to file a judgment on the debt?

-Thank you!

In Iowa it is 10 years, so they have until 2011. Here is a link;
