Default Stepson is implying a physical abuse

We've been having a problem with my step-son at home such as; being mouthy; no regards for other people in the house; doesn't want to do anything, including homeworks. always pick-up a fight with his sister, which she said got her so scared most of the times. My husband put my step-son to a place sponsored by the state for kids and families that needs help to strengthen family relationships. Next thing we knew, a policeman knocked on our door asking questions about my step-sons allegation of being choked and beaten up by my husband. My step-daughter was "interviewed" too at her school which of course she said she told the truth that their dad don't beat them up. They have not talked to my husband yet, they asked me to tell him to call them up and he did but can not reach them. He wants to give them a visit at the Sheriff's office but he was thinking and I quote: "What if they just decided to hold me in there?" Not that he's hiding something but you know how some people were/are wrongfully accused of something. So, if we go there, can they just hold him there if they wish to?

    Default False Abuse Accusation

If they wanted to arrest him, they would do so.

The primary purpose of a police interview is to elicit a confession. (Which is not to say that there isn't a possibility that they have concluded your stepson to be lying.) You and your husband may wish to consider "lawyering up".
