Default Simple Battery Charges but Witnesss Was Intoxicated and Doesn't Remember
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia

Me and my boyfriend were at a party and we were drinking a lot of liquor. I don't remember much that happened through the night but from what I wrote in a police report I don't even remember writing (and after my friends advised the officier I was really intoxicated) I wrote my boyfriend twisted me by my arm and pushed me on the ground. I can't remember how I even got to my friends that I stayed the night at let alone remember any of this. I don't have any scratches or bruises and I was the only witness to this. I didn't call the cops on him he was in our car and was pulled over on a D.U.I by the friends house I was at. My friends walked me up to the scene to see if the police would let someone sober get my car. The officier (which I don't remember clearly this is based on what my friends say) had me fill out a report on why he was driving my car and making sure it wasn't stolen, I guess I told the officier we had got in an arguement over him trying to take off in the car and thats when the arm twisting took place. No one else witness this event and we were at a party. So can the police still press charges even though they knew I was clearly intoxicated. I even called the officier the next day when I woke up and realized my boyfriend was in jail and my car was gone, and told him I didn't remember what happened last night (this was be4 the officier even finished his paperwork to summit charges) He tried to say I was lying and the report doesn't look like a drunk persons handwriting. I'm sorry if I gave good handwriting and I know how to spell. The officier tried to say on the phone with me I wasn't intoxicated but I honestly was very drunk and have witnesses saying how drunk I was. So can they do anything with this case?
