Default Judgment debts on a credit report

I was sued by a credit credit card company (I stopped paying them about two years ago). I contacted the colletion company and settled the debt with them. the case was "dismissed with prejudice." There was not a judgment per say. Now, on my credit report, it shows a judgment with a status of "filed". Is there a way to remove that information from my credit report?
    Thanks.

Check with the court to see how the matter is reflected in their records. Assuming that their records show dismissal without entry of a judgment against you, demand that the credit reporting agency confirm the information and correct the error.
