Post Hot Check for 27 Dollars

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

I have a freind who wrote a bad check for 27 dollars back in 2007...They opened the case in 2008. It was just one check and today she went to sign a wavior of attorney and they told her that she has the option to do a deferred adjudication propation and it would come off her record in 90 days if she did not brake propation. What would you recommend her to do? Thanks in advance.

You say she's guilty as sin? Then, generally speaking, a deferral is a good outcome.
