Uncle Selling House That is in My Mothers Name

Ok please bare with me, This is so complicated I even confuse myself at times. First we live in California

My fiance's mother is very ill. She has to be on oxygen but actually has shown signs of improvement over the past week. The house she lives in was left to her by her parents. The problem is the moms brother has put the house up for sale. Every time one of her kids come to visit her the uncle makes it impossible by starting fights on a constant basis. The kids have allowed this for years. Now my fiance has had enough. He just got out of the military and returned home to find out the uncle is kicking mom out and has put the house up for sale. Its not even in his name. She had given P.O.A but has since revoke it. The biggest part of all this is he has listed the house for 275,000.00 now the land itself is 5 acres, Worth more than half of 275k almost. Its a 4 Br, 2 BA. 1 car garage in Downey Ca , which is a pretty decent area. Please someone tell me what the first step we can do to stop this sale . We cant afford a attorney and my fiance is battling this alone as it seems the other kids have no time {so they say} it's so sad and that house is all she has.Help Please...

If the Power of Attorney was revoked, he has no authority to sell the land.

One of the kids should consider seeking conservatorship, and in in fact the power of attorney was revoked they should also consider instructing the real estate agency that uncle has no authority to sell.
