Curfew Violation and Driving with a Learners Permit Without a Licensed Driver

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Virginia

Hi, Yesterday I took my moms car a mile up the road from my house and parked into a parking spot. Ten minutes after I parked an undercover police officer spotlights my car. He gets out of his car and asks me what I was doing and I was truthful with him and told him that I only had my learners permit and I was going to pick up my friend. He then writes me a ticket for a curfew violation and driving with a learners pemit not accompanied with a licensed driver. My court date is May 28, 2009. I have a clean record and have never been in trouble with the law. What is going to happen? What should I say in court to get a break on my sentence? Help please?? Thank You
