Brother Quit Claimed Out of Mom's Trust

My question involves real estate located in the State of: California
My Brother Quit Claimed my mom's house out of a trust that my mom had setup for my brothers and I. He somehow has quit claimed her house out of the trust that we were all in and put the title of the house in his name only. Is this even legal? Neither me nor my other brother even knew he did this until he told me a few days ago. He says that it was done for tax purposes. What are my (and my other brother's) options to get the house back in all three of our names? Is this considered fraudulant? I really feel vilated and not sure what to do. I will be talking with my brother next week, but I'm not sure what my legal position is at this point. Anybody have any suggestions?

We're to assume that your brother is the trustee? Unfortunately, we can't know what powers the trustee has under the trust, as we can't read the trust; your brother's excuse certainly sounds fishy. Take a copy of the trust to a lawyer and have the lawyer read it and advise you.
