    Default Planting on Propery Line

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Florida

I have a pie shaped yard with the back of two houses facing the right side of my house. We have a well maintained and manicured lawn, but for the past year or so our new neighbors (whom I believe are renting) has let their children and pets play in our yard causing some damage. My husband and I planted shrubs on our property line this weekend and the neighbors are not happy to say the least. This seriously diminished their yard, but we are within our borders. We dug up the sod on exactly our line but planted the bushes so they don't go in their yard. In FL is it ok to do things on your property line or do you have to come in a few feet? What are my legal actions if they carry out their threats to still mess up our yard despite the shrubs?

You can check with local zoning authorities about any required setbacks from the property line. If you want to sue your neighbors for damaging your shrubbery, consider small claims court.
