Getting an Occupational Driver's License with an Out-of-State Revocation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas.

I had my DL revoked in Illinois in 2006. I am in the process of having my driving privaliges reinstated. Have been through all of the court-mandated items and paid all fines. I now live in Texas and need an Occupational Liscence for work, school, etc. Can I get one??? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can I get an Occupational Liscense in Texas if my DL was revoked in Illinois 3 years ago??? Did all the court ordered classses, paid all fines, but need evaluation by LSW to get reinststated up there. I have lived in Texas for the past year. Can I move all my case here and be reinstated under Texas law??? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
