My question i worked with a company and i was a 1099 guy. i was a sales man. i had went to a customers house and gave them a estimate on there work. Then i had quit that company like 3 days later and went to a diffrent company. Well the homeowner called me and was talking to me and i told them i Quit and they asked where are u at now and i told them. Then they asked me to come give them a est with this company. So i was out of town on bussiness and i gave it to another sales man and he sold the job. Now the former company is trying to say i stole the lead and stole customer list. but i didnt profit or gain anything from the sale of the job. So how can i convert somthing if i didnt get anything from it? The trade secret is comming from bidding techniques and pricing info i guess. Can this really stand up in court. and what i would like to find out is the amount of the job id the theft or is it the cost of the lead? i have a attorney. just looking to get a second on it.
the state is georgia.
