Stopped Getting Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: ohio

I have 2 children with my ex husband and he has been very good at paying his child support until he just recently lost his job and now he hasn't been paying. I haven't gotten anything from him in a while and I'm wondering how much is he responsible for if he isn't employed? Is he still responsible for the same amount weekly and what can I do to get anything from him now? Before it was taken directly out of his paycheck.

He is responsible for the court ordered payments until the order is modified.

You could try filing for contempt, however, if he lost his job involunatrily the court might not be able to make a finding of contempt.

Are you on speaking terms? If so, have you asked him about the payments?
