Default How Can I Get Charged a Late Fee

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Indiana

I have baughten a home but I do not own the property i never signed a lease or anything for living here I pay my rent and i have been late so my landlord is charging me a late fee which is understandable but they want to charge me a late fee on top of the late fee is that legal?

I can't read your contracts from here, assuming any even exist, but generally speaking (a) any contract to buy real estate must be in writing, and (b) any contract for a late fee must be in writing.

I have no idea what you mean by "I have baughten a home but I do not own the property". I presume "I have baughten" means "I bought"; are you speaking of a manufactured home purchased separately from the lot, and lot rent?
