Default Divorce When Living in Different States - Where to File

My question involves divorce in the State of Florida. I established residency in the past two years. We were married in Maryland and we both grew up and lived in Maryland I relocated my business to Florida in late 2007.

I am self-employed and operate out of my home in Pinellas County. I would like to file for divorce in Florida, but I am not sure of the issues, etc. since we were married in Maryland and my wife still lives and works in Maryland.

I am not concerned about the marital asset distribution, but I want to avoid as many legal fees as possible and just move on. I will likely relocate again once the divorce is final.

Please provide me any information that would explain the pros and cons of filing in Florida and what I need to be concerned about to expedite the process. Thank you.
