Angry Unauthorized Withdrawal of VA Disability Check
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada

My wife and I are going through some hard times. She was arrested for domestic violence in July 2008. Now March 2009 she has taken everything of mine, including tooth brush, tooth paste, coms hair gel etc. She called her family and asked them to come get me. So I go to their house. Now that I am here, she starts to clean out the banking. In this she withdrawls my entire pay check, tax return and my VA disability check. She has left me with nothing. I asked for her to deposit it but refuses to.

I was told that she cant do this and that it is a federal felony. I am serioulsy considering a divorce but she is very controlling. I am not able to afford an attorney because she has all of our money (over 7,000.00) and left me with none.

If I file for divorce I want to fight for my kids because of what she has done in the house. She is verbaly abusive to our kids, to me and has shown a lack of ethical decisions towards me. I saw today that she is now attempting to sell my personal property on craigs list.. How can I stop this? I called the police out, but they told me that if she says I cant take it, then I cant.. I am an IT (syatems administrator) and rely on my continuing education, she has now taken that away by not letting me get the server out of the house.

can someone help me please???

Default Re: Unauthorized Withdrawal of VA Disability Check
What exactly happened? If you're talking about her withdrawing money that was deposited into a joint bank account with her name on it, she can do that.
