Default Lease Ends 3 Weeks from Now, Not Renewing, Haven't Given Notice

Hi, I am in Florida. I have been living in my apartment complex for almost 2 years. My lease ends on the 24th of this month (March 2009). I do not plan on renewing the lease. I was unaware that I had to give my landlord a 60 day notice of vacancy. What is the worst that can happen as a result of not giving a 60 day notice?

They will charge you for the 60 days of rent. If you fail to pay...they will sue you for the amount due...plus court costs, attorney fees, late fees & filing fees. Next time...read your lease.
