My question involves a child custody case from the State of: NJ
In a situation where both parents die, the only living grandparents live in a different continent, the mother has no siblings, and the father has two, one of which is female, 24 and in college in Texas; and the other one is male, 32, single, has a stable job, lives in NYC and is the child's godfather as well as the legal guardian appointed in the parents' will, would there be any problems for him to take legal custody of the child?
