Angry Statute of Limitations for ID Theft
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Massachusetts

I need to know the statute of limitations for ID Theft for the state of mass. My identity was stolen a couple of years ago and just found out, just need to know if I can still press charges

The statute of limitations to commence action is typically within one year of discovery of the ID theft.

I don't have MA's specific statute to hand, but one year is the usual.

File a police report, and let the police and prosecutor worry about the statute of limitations. I expect the statute of limitations for prosecution is six years or longer. (I believe LRM is referencing a civil limitations period.)
