Default Laid Off While on Worker's Comp, and Lost Medical Insurance
My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Pennsylvania

I have been on worker's comp since July 2008, doctor released me for light duty. Worked 3 weeks on light duty (4hrs a day). Company started laying off and didn't have a light duty job for me. They put me back on full workman's comp. Now they are telling me I lost my medical insurance because my status is listed as laid off. Can they deny me my medical insurance while I'm on workman's comp? I can't get another job since I'm on workman's comp.

Yes, they can. If you qualify, you can seek continuation of coverage through COBRA.
