I was wondering what would happen with my ticket if the prefix number at the top of the ticket is missing. Without it I can't access the online data for the ticket. *hoping the ticket will get dismissed* any info would be helpful

Try calling the court where the ticket is to be tried and ask them if they have any record of you being on the docket for the date in question. The WORST thing you can do is just not show up for court when you're supposed to be there. Penalties range from license suspension and fines (plus fees to reactivate your license) to summary judgment against you.
You can call the law enforcement agency that issued the ticket as well to get the info. The fact that you cannot access "online services" wouldn't seem a worthy excuse for the ticket getting dismissed. There are too many other options available to you to get the information: The court, DMV, law enforcement...it's endless.
