You say employees are not responsible when they don't get repairs done because they do not have the supplies. Basically, it sounds as if you are saying, well, its NOBODYS FAULT!
You know what everybody here,... He or She that is "apples' is incorrect, its somebodys fault! Namely Mike Smuck Mr MBS!!
"apples" let me say something to you, calling a spade a spade is not wrong! I implore you to attempt to name one instance when the boss is not to blame. Ultimately it always starts at the top and you are a fool if you think otherwise. When the economy sucks its the Presidents fault, whether he has control or not!! If he is not being informed of the problems in all his units, then it is HIS fault.
I do work for MBS and I would like for everyone here to take into consideration that they have some of the best employees I've ever seen.
If these employees are as good as you say (which I personally do believe) then he is being informed of problems. Which makes him solely responsible for things not being taken care of!
And finally, apartment ratings, the majority of the comments on that site are written by a handful of people, one particular individual more than others, who go in almost daily as different posters and write bad reviews. This one individual posts here as well and they have a hard on for Mike Smuck, not MBS because, truth be known, they do not now, nor have they ever lived on an MBS property. My guess is they are an ex MBS employee.
As I read apartment ratings I can see that several of the complaints sound the same. As an employee of the company it is easy for you to dismiss these complaints as the same person but there are as of today 85 statements written about the place. Only 4 of these say that the management is adequate and only 16 total were happy with there experience(3 of which were written by the staff).
Most of the people living in these complexes are good, hard working people. If you think that the average person would rather spend his or her time b**ching then you are truely an idiot! Your company has backed people into the corner and it should not surprise you that they are pushing back!!!
The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Trust me when I say that if you are relentlessly calling the corporate office, your deposit will be refunded and your items taken care of.
Why should anyone call "relentlessly" to get things done? As a business owner myself I can tell you that if I caught wind of a website such as this, butts would be getting kicked to make my customers HAPPY!
All they can do is call and ask the status from the corporate office once your documents are forwarded for payment. They would love for you to get your deposit back so they do not have to continue to call the corporate office to find out the status and then risk "lying" to you by only repeating to you what they are told by them.
Sounds to me like you are admitting that the corporate office is "lying" to the staff so they in return "lie" to residents.
These onsite employees have lives, they have families to feed and bills to pay. Please consider carefully the effect your words here might have on them individually.
Going to small claims court to get your deposit back is not expensive and you will get your money back. The process is not that long.
YOU need to remember what you have written about the onsite employees and stop "lying" to them so that they don't have to lie to us! Once again it starts at the top of the ladder not the bottom!
One last thing, if you are so positive that "relentlessly" calling will get refunds back, then why do you recommend going to small claims court? If your company was honest then that wouldn't need to be done, Would it? It must make you proud to work for a company like MBS that recomends suing them for something that is rightfully theirs!
To anyone out their that is in Houston, Austin, & San Antonio please take the time to go to the websites for channels 2 & 13 in Houston and write a letter to their troubleshooters reccomending this sight so they can read first hand what an employee of MBS recommends. Also call the Houston Chronical and voice your opinion.
