    Default Payment Default on Judgment

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Washington
I signed a contract for payment in Dec 2008 on an old credit card that was sent to the lawyers and for two months I have been attempting to get the payment lowered due to my financial circumstance with no response. Now, the BBB is involved and they are not getting a response either. I just sent a payment for half the amount and I am in default. What do I do now? What happens next?

Default Re: Payment Default on Judgment

If they have a judgment against you and you don't pay, they can seize all your non-exempt assets/income that your state allows. They don't have to accept partial payments or reduce the judgment.

How & why did the BBB get involved? Thanks.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
