Default Workers Comp in Oklahoma
My husband was injured at work in June 2008. His doctor says that he has Stage 3 Chondromalacia. Its Really bad. He never had any trouble or syptoms before his injury. Doc says he could have never had trouble with his knees and that the accident caused the symptoms. He has completed all types of treatment plans to date. He injured both of his knees falling and the doctors have performed arthroscopy on his lft knee. They said that he needs a total knee replacement on both knees but is too young to have this procedure. They say that he will need another arthroscopy on his left knee and they dont even want to touch his right knee because so for his left knee pain is worse and is buckling since the procedure. Doc says that this is a condition that will never heal. He is in a lot of pain. What should we do. Doc says he needs job training for a new career.

The workers comp claims rep wants to go to his next doctors appointment with him. Is this typical?

Thank you!

I have never heard of a workers comp rep going to the doctor's appointment with the patient. Seems to me that violates all kinds of privacy rules.

Let me direct you to some people who are very knowledgeable about Workers Comp. They'll be able to help you a lot better than we can, as they are almost all injured workers who have been navigating the system for a while.
