Default When are Intimidating Emails Considered Illegal Threats

I have an x-boyfriend who keeps sending e-mails I saved them all but I thought it had stopped so I deleted all of them. Now it has started again and the message reads. I dont care if you L or D but I would prefer you D. He will know all when done. I just recently married and I am assuming he is talking about my husband. Do I have any legal ways to go we live in two different states now.

    Default Threats

If you feel threatened, file a police report with a department in the jurisdiction where he lives.
