    Question Could a Step-Parent W/ Joint Custody Have to Pay Child Support if NCP Gets Custody

    My question involves child support in the State of: va

    Step parent has joint custody along with CP & NCP. CP who has legal & physical custody, passes away & NCP gets full custody could SP be ordered to pay child support?

    Maybe. To get a meaningful answer, you should have a lawyer review the court orders and case history.
