    Default Malicious Condo Neighbors

My question involves a condominium located in the State of: Massachusetts

I have been living in my condo here in Massachusetts for exactly 3 years next month. When I first moved in I had no problems with my neighbors next door. Actually they were VERY friendly and I was happy I chose this place to reside. Over time I noticed they moved their TV on the wall opposite of where it was supposed to be placed (i.e. they moved the cable line to the wall touching my unit) this is when the problem started. The wall they placed their TV unit is the wall in my condo that my couch is against. I would hear the "bass" from the TV when they had it on and it would resound right through what we all discovered was very thin, inadequately insulated walls. I kindly emailed my neighbor a few times and informed her of the issue. She said she will resolve the "noise" and this did not happen. So 2 more times I sent an email but to no avail. I finally contacted my condo association and formulated a letter of complaint. They then contacted my neighbor and she because enraged at what I was complaining of. She then started to come back at the association saying I was harassing her (WHAT?) so once she understood the boards decision of enforcing the "quiet" policy she complied "unwillingly" (if you will...) over time that got better and recently they started slamming their dishwasher door and making excessive kitchen noise to an unbearable level so I again sent a letter of complaint. My neighbor came back with her juvenile tactics and started pointing fingers at me that I talk to loud in my unit (LOL). She would not take any responsibility for her actions and of her husband. So I can go on and on but recently (tonight) she sent a mass email out to all residents here where we live that "my trash" should be picked up from blowing around in the wind storm we had. The trash which was not mine was thrown by her husband as I witnessed in front of my unit 2 days prior. I picked it up and threw it away even though it wasn't mine. She has made my living her very uncomfortable. What should the board be doing? I have complained and they now feel I should settle with my neighbor and I refuse to do that because it has escalated beyond that point. I sent another letter tonight regarding her "defamatory, malicious, and accusatory" remarks. What should the board be doing? Should I take some action? PLEASE someone help!!! I'm desperate!!!!

What do you expect your board to do? You don't get along with your neighbor - that happens.
