Default Worker's Comp After Seperation From Company
My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Michigan

I have been off work since Mar 3 2008 due to ankle injury. Received letter in the mail that effective Mar 3 2009 I will be separated (terminated) from my company. My question is will I continue to receive workmen’s comp checks for lost wages?

If you remain disabled from working, you should continue to receive your worker's comp wage loss benefits until you are physically able to return to work or you max out the benefit.
