Default Car Loan Problems
I took out a car loan from my ex-employer which I have been making my monthy payment as stated in our aggreement for the title loan which they had the lein on. Last month I had gotten laid off from my new job and my finances were low. My payment for January is now 16 days late and my car was repossed by them last night. I contacted them on Monday of this week and informed them of my situation where I had started a new job and would make my payment on Feb. 10th for Jan and Feb. and he stated that would be fine. My payment is due the 14th of each month. I am almost psotive I probly have no legal rights but was wondering if that was a verbal agreement for payment. I am from IL. and would appreciate any help.

Default Car Loan Questions
What, exactly, is your question? It sounds like your former employer will let you catch up on payments and recover the car; if you doubt that the employer will follow that agreement, consider trying to get a written commitment.
