Exclamation Evicting A Roommate, Not On The Lease, in Texas

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Texas

My roommate who is on the lease wanted to help a freind who just moved from california. This was to be a week event but now his freind doesnt want to leave. He doesnt pay any bills what so ever and has no mail being delivered to this address. Do i have to go thru a formal eviction or can i call the cops to drag him out? Oh and my roommate wants the guy out too. Thank you.

Call the cops (use the non-emergency number) and see what they tell you. Time isn't your friend - the longer you wait, the more likely the answer will be "evict him".
