Can I Get Emancipated at Such a Young Age

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: florida

I am 15yrs old and about 7mon preg. doing online schooling and still seeing the baby's daddy,(witch can prove he can support me and the child) but my father is pressing charges due to the age difference, but also thinks after the babys born he can keep me+baby with him. but my mother has full custedy? and wanted to get emancipated. she said she'll stick by me with it, will i beable to go through with it due to my age?? and will the charges drop??

You can read about emancipation in Florida here.

You're not old enough to be emancipated, for one, and the courts are unlikely to emancipate you in any case, as you are not working and cannot support yourself.

The statutory rape charges would not be affected by an emancipation petition and would proceed.

You ARE young if you think that statutory rape charges disappear when the victim emancipates.

Don't get too attached to the father, honey. The birth of your child is all that is necessary to put him away.

And, as mom is allowing her 15 year old rape victim to continue seeing her rapist, dad could have an excellent arguement for change of custody.

There are so many reasons in your post why no judge would ever agree to emancipate you I'm not even going to bother spelling them out.

Suffice it to say that you have a better chance of winning the lottery and being hit by lightning on the same day than you have of being emancipated at any time prior to your 18th birthday.
