Question Helping Out a Wanted Fugitive

I know it's illegal to help out a wanted fugitive, but what happens if a wanted fugitive who is your friend hops into your car and you drive around with the fugitive in your car. Legally does that mean you're helping out the fugitive, even though you didn't ask the fugitive to come into your car?

Unless he had a gun to your head, yes.

You'd probably get arrested ... or, at the very least, horribly inconvenienced for a while. Not to mention the fun and attention you'd get in the future from all the cops that learned that you aid and abet wanted fugitives.
