If you're telling us that's what happened in a particular case, then it would seem that the answer is "yes". Is that what you're telling us?

In the particular county that we reside there are a lot of overlooked cases. My question I guess would be does the victim(s) have rights?
Is it ok for a county to overlook a law of adultry because they do not want to open a can of worms that will possably flood them with cases?
What about the many victims of sexual crimes that see no justice?
Does Michigan need to reconize these law's,and enforce them?

Are you just asking general and rhetorical questions or is there a particular case you are asking about?

there is a particular case that I feel is unjust for the child,if you were a parent and your child came to you and said that they were sexually assaulted by family they go to the hospital and they say well, nothing can be done because you did not say "NO" ,and your married.the victim states being drunk at the time and not consenting.Original charges are 3 felonies and the county say we can not prosecute on adultry because of the small community, and to define gross indecency!!should the guilty party walk with a slap on the hand???
