Default Domestic Violence Case in Michigan

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
Ok so my little sister was arrested for domestic violence. However the victim did not press any charges. She went to the first court date but missed the second court date. She currently has a bench warrant for her. She is in the military and doesnt want this to ruin her career in the military. my question is: What will happen if she turns herself in? if she moves to another state, will the bench warrant show up in all 50 states? can she still be in the military having a misdeamnor bench warrant?

The military authorities will turn her over to the local authorities when they hear about it.

Why didn't she show up for court?

    Why?

She currently has a bench warrant for her. She is in the military and doesnt want this to ruin her career in the military.
Technically, she's now a fugative from the law. It's not going to get better unless she's got some REALLY good reason for missing that court date.

my question is: What will happen if she turns herself in?
She'll be taken before the judge to finish addressing the original case, PLUS the new charge of failure to appear.

if she moves to another state, will the bench warrant show up in all 50 states?
Yep. And in the US territories too.

can she still be in the military having a misdeamnor bench warrant?
Not for long if they find out about it (think: dishonorable discharge). If she gets a conviction for domestic violence, that will end her military career too, since she'll no longer be allowed to possess a firearm.
