Default Bad Check Help
My question involves criminal law for the state of: TN. Back in July was going through a divorce and needed a car, having the money i wrote a check for 3000 for the vehicle. i left the vehicle at a friends house and visited my parents for awhile. I called my friend to see about my title, he calls me back and tells me the check has bounced. So i made the call to the car lot to take the car back which they did. Turns out my ex had drained my bank account. And i now have a warrant for my arrest. i am very nervous and upset over this, seeing that the company has the car back is their anyway to get the charges dropped through the company or get them dropped to a misdemeanor without any jail time. As i did have the money at the time i wrote the check.

Consult with an attorney to make arrangements to get this sorted out.

A bounced check in the amount of three grand is Serious Business, and is not to be trifled with.
