Default Credit Card My Husband Didn't Get

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: MD

My husband is incarcerated and has been for the last 6 years. He asked me to pull his credit report and I noticed that he had two Capital One credit cards listed, one I know about because we opened it before he was sentenced and the other was opened within the last two years and is way over the credit limit. How do we dispute this? Is there anyway for us to find out who did this?

You need to call Capital One ASAP and find out the billing address for this card. Then file a dispute with capital one for identity theft. You need to file a police report as well, give the police the mailing address that capital one had on file for the card that is not yours.
