Default Do You Have To Sign Insurance Company Releases

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Kentucky
our secondary home burnt sept4,08.... it was arson. our insurance has stalled on everything we have sent notorized proof of loss, traveled 2 hours to be "interigated" for 5 hours under oath, now they want us to sign a waiver so they can have free reign to dig into any parts of our life they choose.. When can we say ENOUGH..NO???? There is nothing to hide just nothing to show dont we have a right to some privacy????

Why have you not sought out counsel?

You need an attorney to help you with this.

We have sought an attorney wants 40% we would not be able to rebuild our lives...this system is terrible the insurance companies you pay to protect you force you to hire an attorney who then in turn takes most of claim that youve paid on Its a rock and hard place either way the consumer losses while others profit on our back!!!!

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

40% is high unless there is a significant problem with your claim. Most attorneys will take 25% to 30%. Based on your posts you really need an attorney and should have never given a statement until you talked to one. At least pay for an hour of time for a consultation.
