Running a Red Light in NYC

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: New York

I recently received a ticket for running a red light. After reviewing my ticket I noticed the officer filled in the wrong "date of offense" (1/13 instead of 1/16), the wrong drivers license ID number, my birthday was one day off (25th instead of the 26th), and it looks like he wrote down the wrong vehicle yr. for my car. Will these inconsistencies be enough to have the ticket dismissed?

Maybe. Or you might get the errors corrected. On the other hand, you may be looking at blurry printing on your copy of a multi-part form.

With an actual error in the DL #, my instinct is to pay the ticket and hope that they don't connect the violation up to the driving record.
