Default Recovering Money Given to Partner's Children
Question? Man lived with a woman for a long time, never got married. He made the woman signatory to his bank account. Woman wrote out checks to her children from bank account. He was aware of it, but he ignored it for years because he trusted her. She is now deceased. He found all the checks and how much they were. He wants to sue her kids for all the checks that the mother wrote to them. Does he have a case?

No.

Even if she did do something illegal (which she didn't) why would her children be responsible for her deeds?

Ignorance is no excuse. Nothing illegal here.
