Default Mom Cosigner,repossesion,relief Needed
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: ohio
My mother in law cosigned for her son,car repoed,now creditor is threatining to attach balance to her credit card,can they do this? She is 79,very fixed income,they are extremely rude when they call,anyway to fix this?

It is possible. If the original loan docs she signed say "right to offset" then they can move the debt around to other credit accounts and debit any deposit accounts she may have with that bank as well.
