Question Vehicle Repossession Fees
Hello, I live in the state of Fl and was wondering if anyone knows an estimate of what the fees a Bank or a Loan Company charges for repossessing a vehicle??
Honda Finnacial is charging me $1,700 (in repossession fees alone) to get my car back. This fee doesn't include two months of late payments and late fees which they are also requesting.

Searching around, I found that the average repossession fees are typically the following:
1. Repossession fee: ~$150-$250
2. Storage fee: ~$170 + a daily fee times the total of days the car stays at that location..
3. Driver fee: ~$45
4. Condition Report and Photo fee: ~$15
5. Skip trace fee: ~$100

Is Honda charging me way too much to get my car back??

Cool Re: Vehicle Repossession Fees
Hi -

Was you car repossessed while it was impounded?
I know that Cali is much higher on fees than Florida, however to me that seems excessive.
