My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: california
I went to the San Pedro courthouse today to deal with my traffic ticket. After I showed the clerk my citation... he said the police officer made a mistake on the courthouse location. Los Angeles isn't their juristiction. When i showed him that "San Pedro" was checked on the citation... he said the carbon paper must have slipped when the police officer was writing the ticket... marking the wrong box on the copy I received.
Someone told me that a mistake on a traffic ticket makes the ticket null & void. Is this true? and if so, Is this true in my case?
