Speeding Laws in a Co-Op

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: New Jersey
My question involves a coop located in the State of: NJ

My association fined us for speeding -- which we were not. However I disputed the means they used for this assessment of "speeding." I pointed out that it was made by an untrained observer without use of radard or any other objective evidence.

Their reply was that a condo is a 'private association' with a 'private road' so they can assess speeding fines any way the please.

Is this true??

Read the coop bylaws. They will describe any right to ticket, and how tickets may be disputed and enforced.
