My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas
I have a case in Sherwood Hot Check court that I was ordered to pay restitution on. Shortly after the court date I lost my job and have been declared disabled. I am waiting on my disability back pay and my income tax return to pay off the restitution. If I file my federal income tax return can sherwood take my return for restitution?

You need to contact the court and advise them that you lost your job etc.
Ask them for an extension to pay your restitution.
After they give you an extension, you can return to court whenever they tell you to and give them an update on your future job or disability. They will most probably work with you until you can handle the payment.
If you had an attorney working on your case, you can give him a call and ask him to do this for you.
