My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Oregon
My vehicle was in for service at the dealership so they gave us a loaner. Because my 17yo son sometimes takes the car in for service, the loaner invoice was on his name (first name misspelled, last name incorrect). I let him use the car to go to work, and he was flashed by a camera. Got the ticket in the mail. Now: the ticket came on his name (first name misspelled, last name incorrect), with his photograph. Just a basic speeding ticket, 48 in a 35.
The last name on the speeding ticket is my correct last name (we share different last names) so here is a scenario to make it more simple:
I'm John Doe, my son is Jimmy Delta
John Doe rents a car, but invoice is for "Jimi Doe". Jimmy Delta gets speeding ticket, arrives under "Jimi Doe" because this was the name on the dealer invoice for the loaner.
What can be done, if anything, to get the ticket dimissed?
Thank you for the help, it is greatly appreciated.
